The Growing Place
The Growing Place is a group of families with pre- and primary- school aged kids who are exploring together what it means for a family to be part of a community of followers of Jesus. We believe that all people, of all ages, are an important part of the Kingdom of God, and that all people, of all ages, can learn from and teach one another what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
We meet on alternate Sunday afternoons at 4pm for a time of worship which is designed to be suitable for adults and kids : the worship is informal and often chaotic, and we try to make sure there is meaningful content for all ages. Worship is followed by supper for the kids and nibbles and wine for the grown-ups!
Around once a month we get together less formally, sometimes with the kids for a picnic or play, and sometimes just for the adults…
This is a new service, just starting out, so all are welcome to come along and help us to shape it!

Our next service for The Growing Place is this coming Sunday 11th February at 4pm. But we’re doing something a little DIFFERENT! We’re going to do a little bushwalking and then have our service in the National Park. It’s a great opportunity to reflect on God’s creation and enjoy a bit of the great outdoors.
We’re meeting at the start of the Gibberagong Track, at the north end of Grosvenor St, North Wahroonga. Park anywhere on the street.
