Playjays

Playjays is a playgroup for children aged 0-5 and their carers. We meet on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:00 in the Lower Hall at St. John’s Uniting Church for the kids to have a play and the adults to have coffee and chat.

Everyone is welcome, no booking required! Cost is $2 plus a piece of fruit to share for morning tea…

St. John’s Uniting Church is opposite Wahroonga park, on the corner of Stuart Street and Coonanbarra Road. The entrance to the Church and hall is off Coonanbarra Road.

The last Playjays of this term turned out to be our biggest ever – 31 kids aged between ten days and four years, plus parents (and grandparents) came along for a morning of playing, talking, drinking coffee, playing some more, morning tea, and singing. We’ll take a three week break now for the Easter holidays, starting up again on April 29th.

On Saturday March 19th we’ll be having a family picnic over in Wahroonga park at 3:30pm. Hopefully this will be a chance for Growing Place families, playjays families, and the wider St. John’s family to get together in an informal fun setting.
Just bring yourselves, a picnic rug, and some afternoon tea. Games will be organised for the young and young at heart. In case of really bad weather, we’ll move to the hall!
